Board of Directors


The primary purposes of the Board of Directors is to develop and review policy, hire senior administrative staff, review the performance of senior administrative staff and consulting staff, ensure financial accountability and maintain a well-kept campus. Our long-term vision for the school is a constant focus on exemplary Christian instruction, joyful learning for every student, passionate teachers, delighted parents, clean facilities, good governance and financial stability. This is the Board’s prayer, hope, and dream. Together we trust God that we are purposed to bless students with insights and habits that will serve them well for a lifetime.

Cecil Munkoh 

Chair

Cecil and his family have been part of the BCA community since 2020. He joined the Board in September of 2023.

Catherine Evans 

Secretary

Catherine Evans joined the BCA Board in January 2023. She and her husband, Mark, have been part of the BCA community since 2015, when their eldest daughter first enrolled. A decade later, two daughters have graduated, and their youngest is still attending.

Chris Heise

Chris Heise and his family have been a part of the BCA community since 2017. He joined the Board in September of 2025. Chris currently serves as the Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Compass Point Bible Church in Burlington where he has been on staff for nearly 10 years. Chris lives in Dundas, ON with his wife, Holly, and their four children.

Joseph Neizer

Joseph is a retired banker and a certified financial planner. He is also a certified professional coach and currently serves as President of JN Consulting & Financial Planning Services. Joseph’s passion is promoting financial literacy and financial well-being.

Perpetual Boafo

Perpetual Boafo brings a strong foundation in Christian education leadership to her role on the Board of Directors at Burlington Christian Academy. With her experience as Vice Principal of School at King’s Christian Collegiate, she demonstrates a deep commitment to shaping inclusive, faith-centred school communities.
