What Our Parents Are Saying
BCA competes with other local schools regularly in single games or tournaments. BCA also has extra clubs and activities including recess clubs like lego, prayer, floor hockey, soccer, etc. These clubs allow students from different grades to connect over a similar interest and build friendships. It also gives each student a place of belonging and an activity they can succeed in outside of typical academic subjects.
In all grades, there is an option for 1:1 music lessons (vocal, piano, flute, etc) for students to partake in. As a parent, this means one less extracurricular we have to schedule into our week because it is done during the school day.
The environment is steadfastly positive and built on a strong framework of shared responsibility to the school and to each other. Even though students are in different classes, they spend a lot of time bonding as a whole. The older children are excellent role models for kindergarten kids. The school provides lots of opportunities for older students to interact and provide support to younger students.
My girls look forward to going to school, they walk into a bright, inviting atmosphere where the teachers love teaching and the children flourish as a result. Their educational needs are met and their characters are nourished. At the end of the day I pick them up with huge smiles on their faces!
It’s a wonderful, well rounded school. Amazing teachers, caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive and be grounded in Christian values. Our family loves the school and community that makes it an extended part of our family.
Students get to explore their other interests, talents and abilities through other than strictly academic programs. This I appreciate because it means they’ll be more rounded and are more likely to have a better school experience than many others.
