John Lewis Morvan

Mr. Morvan is thrilled and beyond grateful to continue with the BCA team as the K–8 French teacher. He has been teaching French to students in Grades 3–12 since 2020 and joined BCA in 2025. As a native French speaker born to two French-speaking parents, he completed his elementary education entirely in French here in Ontario. He is currently completing a Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in French at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Mr. Morvan believes and has seen firsthand that French can be both fun and transformative. He eagerly anticipates sharing vibrant Francophone culture with BCA students and the wider community through engagement, joy, and most importantly, through lessons & feedback that spark a lasting love for the French language.

Raised in a Christian household, Mr. Morvan currently attends Church on the Queensway. His commitment is not only to being a Christian but also to walking daily as a disciple of Christ.

Outside of his deep passion for teaching and learning, Mr. Morvan enjoys dedicating time to developing his boxing skills, maintaining a consistent yoga practice, and playing an absurd amount of chess.
