Rebecca Mathieu

Truly blessed to join the BCA community this year (2025-2026). Have an Administrative Studies Diploma and Legal Office Assistant Certificate from HBI college. I’ve always had a passion working with children that led me back to school where I graduated with high honours from Sheridan College back in 2017 with an ECE certificate. I was very blessed to have an international placement educating children in Hong Kong during that time. I have a heart for the younger ages, where I was a toddler and preschool educator at Sheridan College’s child care centre, The Region of Halton’s Child care centres-where I gained experience working with children with exceptionalities, and also working in both non-profit and profit centres. ​​ Active in my local church as a Sunday school teacher/assistant and part of the worship team as a singer & bassist alongside my husband (of 20 years). ​ Outside of work I love to run- my favourite place to be amongst God’s nature, enter races for local charities, hiking with our two young boys and husband and enjoy art -drawing and painting.
